Swap Recommendations lets you decide which products subscribers see, and in what order, when they go to swap.
Until now the swap modal sorted products alphabetically by collection, so a coffee subscriber might see creamer before decaf and an electrolyte subscriber might land on whey protein first. Now you build recommendation rules: pick a source (a specific product, a collection, or all products as a fallback), curate the products and collections that should show first, drag them into the order you want, and choose whether to stop there or fill the rest with automatic suggestions. Rules resolve by specificity, so a product-level rule beats a collection rule, which beats your global fallback. You set this up from a new tab on the Products page, and it applies in CPv3 and the swap step of your cancel flow, with no extra configuration. This is for merchants with real catalogs who want the swap experience to feel curated instead of random.
Better swap options mean more completed swaps, and at the cancel-flow moment, a relevant alternative is often the difference between a save and a lost subscriber. Sites with no rules see zero change.
