Time-based multipliers

Improvement

Loyalty

Time-based multipliers let you boost your existing credit rewards for a window you set, then drop them back to your base rates on their own when that window closes.

You build one under Loyalty > Credits on the new Time based multipliers tab, where you name the campaign, set a start and end time with the time zone, toggle on the rewards you want to boost, and enter a multiplier for each. Push Credits per USD spent to 2.4x for Black Friday week and a customer earning 10 credits per dollar earns 24 instead, and by Tuesday the reward is back at 10 on its own. Birthday, anniversary, review, and newsletter rewards boost the same way, and advanced settings hold a campaign to specific products or segments. A higher VIP tier multiplier still wins, so nobody earns less during a campaign. Multipliers never apply retroactively, and when two overlap on the same reward, the most recent one takes precedence. Add the Campaign countdown block to your product template once and subscribers see the live clock on eligible products, 2.4x credits ends in 1d 11:14:34, while they're deciding whether to add one more.

Credits at a flat rate all year are a rebate. A deadline is what turns them into a reason to order this week.
